Begawe Sundawa is a masterplan concept rooted in the Sasak values of Begawe—a spirit of mutual cooperation and togetherness—and Sundawa, a traditional weaving motif from Pringgasela. The motif is reinterpreted as an imaginary axis that guides the spatial organization and movement throughout the site. 

The concept creates an open, inclusive, and interconnected environment through a series of communal spaces that encourage social interaction, while embedding local cultural values into the overall spatial experience. 

Begawe Sundawa seeks to establish a distinctive identity for East Lombok by harmonizing culture, people, architecture, and nature into a cohesive and sustainable environment.
